French fries are something everyone young or old enjoys. My son loves french fries ofcourse potatoes are the only vegetable he likes to eat.I'm wondering if thats the case with many mothers these days.Like we say necessity is the mother of all invention.I used to make fries at home and it was oily, soggy and all my guilt stopping me from making it at all. This may not be perfect like the store brought ones but atleast i know theres nothing added to it.</div>

Many friends asked me if I stopped blogging for good as much I kept giving reasons for not blogging I so definitely wanted to get back to it because the blog world gave me some wonderful friends and contacts. Even though we met through the virtual world, it's as if we've known each other so well. Today's recipe is caramel popcorn my ever so fav version of the humble popcorn which makes such a wonderful snack and companion for many an occasion. </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXdlLaOG3P2DvWytFhkKS1mr5B14ZgoLUFhCehzWpdNKKAC9p6JSmqPsoShw_j0_B-TfCvXtMLcIU9AvL1KJng1Mcv_ehr_rtgzpPlXN80P3fURRUL_2RyVnL8uyt64zNlNGz3Sp3vBgg/s640/blogger-image--624520610.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXdlLaOG3P2DvWytFhkKS1mr5B14ZgoLUFhCehzWpdNKKAC9p6JSmqPsoShw_j0_B-TfCvXtMLcIU9AvL1KJng1Mcv_ehr_rtgzpPlXN80P3fURRUL_2RyVnL8uyt64zNlNGz3Sp3vBgg/s640/blogger-image--624520610.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div>Last weekend we bought a container of caramel popcorn for such a high price and V was like how come you've never tried this! Tea time is also after-school time these days though i prefer not to make deep fried snack all the time , it happens to be one of the most easy to feed things with kids. This snack is popular in our home town or rather the south of Tamil nadu and kerala too.It maybe known by other names in different regions.I just came to know it is called "mutta-koss"(means cabbage due to its appearance) from my neighbour who is from Tirunelveli. It is called vettu(cut) cake because of the cuts made on the top of the cake i guess.<br>

Its mango season and its summer season too. This season unlike last year we had a lot of freshly plucked mangoes and so lesser tension eating them not having to think about the chemicals or pesticides. My kids love ice cream and in the greedy intention of making my son have some form of milk i tried this recipe which was yummy but he ran away seeing it.</div>

I have been on a long vacation this year because my daughter's new school has a longer leave than the previous one.I had so many pictures saved in drafts but couldn't post it because of the IE ditching me.This drink i made a few months back when I had green mangoes from an aunt's place to pickle. With the shifting and moving in i couldn't pickle them and few were turning ripe.So i decided to make this aam pana with i wanted to make for so long.</div>

Tapioca is a really yummy tuber. Its simply cooked and seasoned with mustard seeds in coconut oil in the south and it tastes heavenly. My DH used to tell me how the gujarati house he stayed in UK served him sabji style tapioca curry for chapathis.I have tried it but not too happy with my results i never repeated it.Last week i tried this curry and its just a modified version of our south indian curry but i found it much better.A good change to regular tapioca.<br>
