I have been hunting for chocolate chips and muffin liners for a while here in vain!So my mom got me some and I'm more than pleased with them, which is why i jumped at making these beauties.And this recipe is a keeper!
Muffins, I feel much more easier to bake than cakes :) Its just more interesting to make these small cakes.i wasn't a big fan of it until we went to London and were spoiled for choice of muffins!And once you start baking them you'll fall in love with it.
Preparation Time : 30 mins (mixing time) + 30 mins (baking time)
Makes 22 mini muffins
Recipe from Allrecipes.
All purpose flour/Maida 2 cups
White sugar 3/4cup
Baking powder 3 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Milk 1 cup
Vegetable oil 3/4 cup
Egg 1
Chocolate chips 1 cup

Recipe from Allrecipes.
All purpose flour/Maida 2 cups

Baking powder 3 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Milk 1 cup
Vegetable oil 3/4 cup
Egg 1
Chocolate chips 1 cup
Warm water about half a cup
- Preheat the oven to 250C and line the muffin tray or grease the tray and keep aside.
- Sift the flour, baking power in a mixing bowl.Add the sugar to this.And leave aside.
- Mix the chocolate chips to the flour.
- Now beat the egg in a bowl until frothy,add the oil to this.And then the milk.Mix all of this well.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry flour mixture.Mix well to get a batter that can be dropped from the spoon.
- Add the warm water enough to make it the right consistency.
- Scoop the batter into the muffin liners until half.
- Bake the muffins at 200C for 25minutes or until done.
- The tops will be cracked and crispy and the inside will be spongy soft!
- Chocolate chip muffins are ready to share with friends and family!
